Delete your data

Quartography has no accounts. Solo play never leaves your phone. If you use family sync, here's how to remove it, piece by piece or all at once.

Data on your phone

Your atlas, settings, players, family questions and photos are stored inside the app. To delete them, delete the Quartography app from your phone. In the browser game, clear the site data for quartography.xyz in your browser's settings.

Remove a person from the family

  1. Open Quartography, go to Settings and, under Family, tap People.
  2. Tap the person, then Remove from the family.
  3. Enter the parent PIN to confirm.

The person disappears from every phone in the family and from leaderboards straight away.

Remove a phone from the family

  1. On that phone, go to Settings and tap your family's name under Family.
  2. Tap Remove this phone from the family.

Don't have that phone any more? On any other family phone open Settings, then Phones in the family, and remove it with the parent PIN.

The phone's sync token is deleted from our server. The family, its people and their atlases stay on the other phones.

Erase your whole family

To permanently delete your family and everything stored with it on our server, email us:

[email protected]

Include your family code (Settings → Family, next to “Add another phone”) and the family name. To protect your family, we may ask a question only the parent can answer before we delete anything.

We delete the data within 30 days and reply to confirm when it's done. Deletion can't be undone.
